Merry Standish Comedy will be performing their all-new election eve satire. Liz has been writing and performing comedy since 1990 when she joined Aaron Standish and the rest of the local jokers for a Wacky Wednesday at LaSalle’s. Four months later she and Standish were married and four years after that they opened Wild Oak, Red Bluff’s only store for fake hippies. Wild Oak sat across the street from the historic State Theatre for almost 29 years, serving as a ticket outlet and cast hangout for many of the shows staged during the early years of restoration.
Liz has a weekly humor & local politics column in The Red Bluff Daily News, which also appears online at a news cafe. She brings comedy writing chops, a trained singing voice, years of performance experience, and her own fake news show (complete with video gags) to the latest MSC outing.
